You’ve probably heard that the US Men’s Soccer team has a pretty big match against Belgium. The game will decide whether or not the US advances to the next round in the 2014 World Cup.
Last week, the US team created a contract template asking for permission to miss work in order to be able to watch the game and cheer on the men’s team. If you want to support the US team, Shake and head coach Jurgen Klinsmann have you covered.
We’ve created a custom agreement template for you to sign with your boss. If you want access to this template, email us (TeamUSA@shakelaw.com) and we’ll drop it into your Shake account. You can also copy the text below into our “Create Your Own” template, sign and send to your boss for signature. It’s that easy.
The contract reads:
“Please excuse _________ from work on Tuesday, July 1st.
I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause. The #USMNT has a critical World Cup game vs. Belgium and we will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round.”
Shake for Business is our new pilot program that will allow you to freely upload your own templates and agreements, just like this. Sign up to test Shake for Business in beta here.
